👋 Hi there, I’m Alexa.

I’m a strategist & marketer helping brands create meaningful connections with consumers. I work with brands of all sizes in high-growth industries like beauty, healthtech & fintech. My work combines strategy, storytelling, design, product, emerging tech & immersive experiences.

Clients past and present include Plaid, Jam City, Dr. Barbara Sturm, DeviantArt, Augustinus Bader, Ourself, Victoria Beckham Beauty, Gitcoin and more. Throughout my career I've worked with teams at &Walsh, Anomaly, Lippincott & IDEO.

After a decade in beauty & CPG working in strategy, marketing & product roles for some of the world’s largest brands, I started Atomic Number 8, a creative studio based in Brooklyn.

By combining technology with a deep understanding of consumer behavior & cultural trends, we bring creative concepts together that others cant to unlock new value. When the world is changing so fast, brands can’t afford to be stuck; we help them stay relevant & become resilient.

If I could, I would define our process for you, but it’s different every time. It begins with sensemaking, or determining what a project, client or brand needs vs. what they think they want. This requires balancing data analysis with emotional intelligence.

We strive for plainspokenness (fewer words the better,) curiosity (always be learning,) impact (if it’s not positive, it’s negative,) agility (iterate fast, know when to pivot,) experimentation (take risks, learn from them, adapt) and efficiency (time is too precious to waste.)

Most recently, I’ve been researching how communities build culture in an effort to better understand the role regenerative AI can play in brand worldbuilding (yes I realize this goes against the aforementioned plainspoken principle above, but I promise the completed research piece will not.)

I split my time between Bushwick & East London. I enjoy disco house and French touch music, orange wine, strong opinions, the scent of sunscreen and sailboats.
